Now that we’ve finished Capstone projects
(😸😼😿🙀😿😹😹😻), we’re going to compile your work from this year into a book.
Each person will have two spreads in the book. One spread will show and describe your Capstone project. The other spread will include work from Professional Practice.
A previous example is here, if it helps to see what others did and said.

I just saw this link to another senior show. Maybe it’s good seeing other people’s shows? Maybe it’s terrible?
Since today’s class is full, please turn in your Orbit treatments online and we can give you feedback before the next round . Turn in by Monday afternoon 3/27.
Turn in initial Orbit Treatments here.
For our exhibition, we’ll produce a number of materials, including poster, wall graphics, postcard, catalog, and more.
We’re going to start this process by coming up with a mark to represent this show. This doesn’t need to be a logo in the traditional sense. It needs to use the word Orbit and represent our show/class graphically.
Consider the kinds of places this will get used – wall vinyl, postcard, poster, catalog – and think about how it will get used on those. In the past, this has largely been the “image” on the front of the poster or catalog, so it may not need to be as succinct as we normally think of branding or a logo.
In this part of the project, continue refining and moving forward on your project. In doing so, you’ll meet a set of milestones to keep you on track.
Create and turn in a PDF that shows off your treatment for the APA LA New Orleans Sector rebrand.
To submit your PDF:
Go to at least 2 art/design gallery shows or museum exhibitions and write a short appraisal of the presentation of the work.
